The perfect man is gentle
Never cruel or mean
He has a beautiful smile
And keeps his face so clean.
The perfect man likes children
And will raise them by your side
He will be a good father
As well as a good husband to his bride.
The perfect man loves cooking
Cleaning and vacuuming too
He'll do anything in his power
To convey his feelings of love on to you.
The perfect man is sweet
Writing poetry from your name
He's a best friend to your mother
And kisses away your pain.
He never has made you cry
Or hurt you in any way
To hell with this endless poem
The perfect man is gay.
My friend, Kristen, sent me that this morning when I was complaining about my life. At least that made me smile. My Mac crapped the bed today. That's right-- Mac's aren't supposed to do that. But I, somehow, managed to get a blinking folder of death and am unable to start my Mac up. Good thing I have a PC, despite the fact that I don't have any of the last month's worth of work on it. Oh, what a day.
On a slightly (I emphasize slightly) better note, I ordered a refurbished 8GB iPod touch today. Only $30 more than an 8GB nano costs, and has a much bigger screen, WiFi, and I figured it was the best bet for my life, because I can download movies to it and watch them on the airplane to/from California-- ya know, since I'll be there at the beginning of March AND April.
Also, I guess I'm officially important. The president of the company that I work for told me today that I need to get a Blackberry because "I see you and Erin being around much more long term and full-time than anyone else here" (There is one person that she left out from needing to get a Blackberry, who I guess is skating on thin ice... shhh, I'm not supposed to know this). At any rate, I guess I'll go out shopping for a Crackberry this weekend, so I can figure out how to have it up and running by the beginning of March, when I head to California for AGS. Fun Fun.
Okay, really though. I know my Mac isn't currently working, and I don't have much of my work on my PC, but I DO need to get to work. Just thought I'd share the lovely poem and give you a quick update on my hellacious day-- all of which I blame on it being Friday the 13th...
